It was a very dynamic year 2019 and the amplitude between photography highs and privat lows could not have been bigger. But in this post I would like to look ahead positive.

Exhibitions

I have exhibited my photos here in the Ruhr area for the last three years. The „TIMELINES“ exhibition in Dortmund was a huge success. Special thanks to my friend Carsten Nachlik who is my partner for visualizing and advertising for this project. But I also would like to visit other areas of Germany like Hamburg, Berlin or Munich for example. But of course it is not easy if you don't know anybody there who opens a door for you.

An exhibition abroad again would be great too. My friend Michael and I are thinking about how to realize to show the pictures in Madrid.

Weimar would be great of course. But I can't tell you anything yet. Best regards to my friend Andre 🎈

I still present the photos behind acryl-glass. But there is also a qualitative development. For this I make an extra post.

Social Media

In my Street Bubble there is a decline in social media. I think the dosage is important. I have made so many nice and wonderful contacts over the last years. For me it had great benefits. By the way, I've been planning a YouTube channel for some time now and I'm going to set up a newsletter.

I am also planning a small series of interviews for my blog - let me surprise you.

Camera

If you are following me for a while, you know I am taking pictures with the Sony RX1r. But I could imagine to change the camera next year. I am already in a test phase in this regard. And no, I do not buy a Leica camera...

Workshops

In October 2020 I will offer a street photography workshop in Unna with an excursion in Dortmund. And together with a friend we are planning a charity workshop in Berlin. If you’re an interesting group, I would come to your town.

Projects

There are two photo projects I am currently working on.

I accompany the nurses of Caritas and photograph the care at home. Thanks at this point to Mr. Hartmut Claes for his trust.

For my second project I accompany the nursing staff of a big hospital in the Ruhr area.

Both two very demanding and sensitive photo projects.

Photokina

Maybe there’s an option to show my pictures at the Photokina in Cologne. Maybe…

I still have so many dreams and plans around my street photography. It is an adventure.
